This unit stores up power in the built-in capacitors and when the point motor is operated, discharges current in one big 'punch' giving the point motor a positive and firm switching action.
 
We suggest one CDU for every 6 Point Motors when using individual switches, or one CDU for every 8 Point Motors when using a Switch Bank.
